Monrovia Middle School (MMS) Band Parents Meeting

October 13,2008

Call to Order

The meeting was called order at 7:03pm by Band President Mr. Steve Bong.

Call for Additions to the Agenda

No new items or inquiries were brought to Mr. Bong’s attention

Presentation of Treasurer Report: 

Mrs. Valerie Murphree presented the treasurer report as delineated in the handouts. Special attention was called to the 9/8/2008 report, note the bold type corrections made to the totals for the month of August. Upon a duly made motion which was seconded, the report was accepted as stated unanimously.

Band fees and instrumental rental fees are due now!

Old Business/New Business

Mr. Bong posed the question regarding the email server. He inquired if parents were interested in being able to access old announcements and emails. If they are, they have been asked to email Mr. Dowdy. The server is private, email addresses will not be sold, and it is for band use only.

No further questions were asked

Closing Remarks:

MMS Band Parents Association is supported by volunteers

Meeting was adjourned at 7:07pm

Mrs. Kramer presented the minutes for review and approval.   Upon a duly made motion which was seconded, the report was accepted as stated unanimously.
